Refund policy
Every Sticker Direct order is custom printed to your artwork, at the size, shape and material you choose. Nothing is printed until you have seen a proof and approved it.
BEFORE YOU APPROVE
Your proof is the checkpoint. Please check the spelling, the dimensions, the colours, the quantity, the material and the cut line. If anything is not right, ask us to change it — there is no charge and no limit on revisions before approval.
CHANGE OF MIND
Because every order is manufactured specifically for you, we cannot offer a refund, return or exchange if you change your mind. That includes deciding you no longer need the stickers, ordering the wrong size, shape, quantity or material, or finding them cheaper elsewhere.
It also includes anything that was visible on the proof you approved:
• spelling, wording or layout errors
• dimensions or cut line
• artwork you supplied that was low resolution, cropped or the wrong version
• colours, subject to the note below
This is why we send a proof, and why we will revise it as many times as you need before you approve it.
IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR ORDER
If your stickers arrive damaged, faulty, or different to the proof you approved, email admin@stickerdirect.com.au within 14 days of delivery with:
• your order number
• what is wrong
• clear photographs showing the problem
We will look at it and reprint the order, replace it, or refund it. You will not be asked to pay return postage on a faulty order, and in most cases we will not need the stickers back at all. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
If a problem only becomes apparent later than 14 days, still contact us. That window is how quickly we would like to hear from you, not a limit on your rights, which are set out at the end of this policy.
COLOUR
We print in CMYK. Screens emit light and paper and vinyl reflect it, so a printed colour will never match a screen exactly, and the same file will look different on two different monitors. Normal screen-to-print variation is not a fault and is not grounds for a reprint.
If exact colour is critical — matching an existing brand colour, or matching a previous run — tell us before you approve your proof and we will talk you through what is achievable.
MATERIAL LIFESPAN
Our outdoor lifespans are stated as "up to": up to 5 years for premium, high-tack and clear vinyl, up to 3 years for promotional vinyl, and up to 2 years for holographic vinyl.
"Up to" means exactly that. These figures are the upper end of expected performance in ordinary Australian outdoor conditions. They are an indication, not a guarantee, and we do not warrant that any sticker will last a particular length of time. Real life varies enormously with:
• the surface it is applied to, and how well that surface was cleaned
• sun exposure, heat, salt air and rainfall where you are
• abrasion, pressure washing, solvents and cleaning chemicals
• whether the sticker is flat, curved, or stretched over a compound curve
A sticker that has faded, lifted or worn after a period of outdoor exposure has generally reached the end of its service life rather than failed. That is not the same as a manufacturing fault, and the two are treated differently.
Stating a lifespan this way does not reduce your rights below. If a sticker fails prematurely in a way that means it was not of acceptable quality, the Australian Consumer Law applies regardless of anything in this paragraph.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
